Q How is the life-extending epigenetic research of Professor David Andrew Sinclair Incomplete?

1 Answer: The life-extending epigenetic research of Professor David Andrew Sinclair is of the highest quality and probably the most significant age-reversal protocol so far devised. But its focus and its greatest proven effectiveness is the improvement in the operations of blood fractions within the human body and there are locations where that new protocol technology does not reach, as Professor Sinclair has advised us. See

Which begins with :”This is a brief guide about the protocols which might enable you to live a longer healthier life if you so choose and if you can afford these protocols and if you really want to understand and adopt the actions leading to a longer healthier life.“

This Answer is a copy for Medium readers of my essay within Quora.

2 Discussion. This topic is perhaps best discussed under three major headings:

  • Where does this new epigenetic technology have its greatest effects?
  • Which parts of the body’s structures may experience partial effects?
  • Where are there minimal improvements in body structures?

These sub-topics aere discussed at paras 2.1 to 2.3 below along with my partial explanations and possible remedies to these issues, where these may be available.

2.1 Where does this new epigenetic technology have its greatest effects?

  • The greatest effects are within the genetic expression of cells accessed by the blood fractions modifying the operation of genes within cells to ensure accurate genetic expression and the better inter-communication within and between cells.

The David Andrew Sinclair life-extension protocols consists of three kinds of pills administered by mouth. These pills dissolve in the stomach and affect the internal organs through the circulation of blood within the body. For a list of blood fraction effects, see this extract from

George Tait Edwards’s answer to How could Joe Biden become another FDR for the 21st century? Could Joe Biden set a new high standard by becoming the greatest possible version of himself? How could he best do that?:

And here’s the extract:

These blood fractions represent an immense “youthening” of the Internal body blood fractions by between 15 years (when compared with actual age) to 26 years (when compared with previous biological age). That’s an immense achievement.

The internal organs are the most affected by these pills. These pills affect the black brain and the nervous system by improving intercellular communication and disease prevention, and by preserving into older age the undamaged genetic spiral of the cells.

The extension of the health of the black brain extends life because when 50% of the black brain cells die, then death occurs. That’s obviously a major avoiding effect.

2.2 Which parts of the body’s structures may experience partial effects?

The eyes appear at first sight to be unconnected to the blood but that perception is mistaken, because the mechanism of the eyes operate at a slightly higher pressure to enable the clearing of floaters and other developing internal-to-the-eye visual obstructions, to be exported to the blood.

The ear, nose mouth and throat system while crucially connected neurologically are partly disconnected from and have one-way systems into the CNS and blood.

Diseases and viruses within the mouth are transferred via the mouth salivary glands into the blood where they can cause dementia. These transfers are wholly preventable but although dentists nearly always know about that phenomena, many Medical Doctors do not. See

George Tait Edwards’s answer to What do governments and their medical advisors need to understand about COVID-19 but generally don’t?

2.3 Where are there minimal improvements in body structures?

The external structures of the human body are least improved within this protocol.

The idea that the body has external structures may jar a bit because of the widespread but simple concepts of the integration of bodily functions but is a vital key to understanding how four of the senses operate as CNS-connected but external facilities.

By “external structures” I mean the parts of the body which do not have direct contact with the circulating blood, but which enable the operation of the senses of touch in the upper skin, vision by the eyes, hearing by the ears and balance by the vestibular system in the inner ears, and smell by the tendrils hanging inside the upper reaches of the nose. Four of the five senses plus the essential capability to balance are provided via these external-to-the-blood systems. Only the sense of taste in the tongue is fully integrated into the blood circulating system.

Within the eyes, a positive pressure is normally maintained with respect to the blood. That higher pressure is essential to enable the largely water-containing eye to clean itself by exporting to the blood the floaters and potentially cataract forming substances within the eye.

When eyes are damaged they become ”bloodshot,” which disappears when the eye returns to normal health.

The operation of the visual purple system of rods and cones within the eyes is dependent on the dietary provision of carotene. I think eyesight into old age may be assisted by a daily (or when required) tablet of about 15mg of carotene which seems to cause an increase in visual acuity after the previous-day unwise-but-enjoyable consumption of a high-fat meal of say too much fish and chips or Peking Duck. The normal Western diet obviously may not contain enough carotene to maintain sharp vision into old age and I have found that a minor 15mg carotene vitamin dose works for me. Carotene seems to enable higher eye blood pressure but there seems to be few if any research articles about that.

Within the ears, physical balance is maintained by the vestibular balance within the inner ear. Many deaths among the elderly are due to the injuries produced by falling and the vestibular system can be damaged by ear infections and the build-up of ear wax.

A small daily 4gm dose of Xylitol (in morning tea or coffee) prevents both ear infections and dementia.

In the relationship between the eyes and the brain, the normal position is that the brain shrinks when people are in their fifties and because the eyes are embedded in the brain, the characteristic “age-lines” above and below the eyes appear.

The appearance of these face lines can be prevented from occurring through the daily use of 1000 mg of Omega 3 (3/6/9?) Fish Oil which normally contains 180mg EPA (EicosaPentaenoic Acid) and 120 mg DPA (DocosaHexenaenoic Acid). These acidic oils assist brain function and seem to prevent brain shrinkage. And yes, I know about the many researches which have concluded that these oils do not appear to assist physical functioning, but these researchers may have been looking in the wrong place. In my view when brain size is maintained in its larger younger state, I think it is likely that mental capabilities may remain more effective and youthful.

I am 79 and have not developed the brain shrinkage lines above and below my eyes anf I think that’s useful. And might contribute to continuing mental capability.

I have noted the frequent removal of small benign lumps from women’s faces. That occurs and improves the appearance of the face through that minor surgical removal of benign but unsightly small lumps.

3 Further discussion.

Perhaps one of the most perceptive comments made by David Andrew Sinclair is that his suggested anti-aging protocol improves the length of the healthy lifespan but “it will not make you beautiful, unless you already are.”

So this protocol may extend life and mental health and capability but does not preserve or improve skin quality or visual capability or hearing.

I think it is an immense advantage to grow older without suffering the mental and medical troubles normally associated with old age. There is no need for

  • The development of dementia which Xylitol prevents
  • The suffering from the viral illnesses which are normally present in older ages — ditto
  • The reduction in the effectiveness of memory or
  • The loss of cells in the black brain which leads to death.

4 Conclusions

4.1 The new epigenetic understanding of aging by Professor David Andrew Sinclair is the greatest and most useful protocol for reducing age effects as illustrated by the more youthful blood fractions and their active behaviour produced by taking Sinclair’s three-substances protocol.

4.2 But as Sinclair has remarked, these substances while improving the operation of cellular expression, replication, intercommunication and DNA integrity, do not improve physical appearance and do not necessarily reach or improve the key “external to the blood” sensory organs of the mouth/eye/nose/ear/skin-surface, which may deteriorate with large consequences. Sinclair puts it all more siimply in his observation that his protocol “will not make you beautiful, unless you already are” and he has said he proposes to conduct further research on systems that might help to do that. I look forward to his reports of these researches.

4.3 The deterioration of these sensory organs can generally be improved through appropriate vitamins or vitamin-like substances.

4.4 The FDA’s rejection of Sinclair’s claim to have developed a cure for ageing is uninformed and seems based upon the simple idea that ageing is not a disease hence cannot be cured. The scientists of the FDA appear to have no published grasp of the senses operating through an external “dry” environment while Sinclair’s researches apply in the blood fraction’s “wet” activity but this is what actually occurs and is a useful framework for understanding.

This is a simple overview of a very large and complex subject. The major aspect of what occurs within cells is their inappropriate unfolding of the genetic material which causes mistaken cellular expression and much else. This new epigenetic understanding explains and Sinclair’s pills prevent that phenomenon and much else.

This Answer is my idiosyncratic summary of my obsessive interest over the last four decades into this topic. We are all genetically different and I offer my readers my understanding and my reactions to these issues without any guarantee that what has worked for me, will work for you.

I wish you all the best of genetic luck.

I will update this Answer in due course in the light of further developments.
